OCAD U students, faculty, staff and alumni – join us for a kick-off to our 150th anniversary year. 

A community-centred pop-up project initiated by Amy Wong that celebrates the wisdom passed down through mothers, aunties, elders, caregivers, and chosen family. 

OCAD University is participating in the all-night celebration of contemporary art, Nuit Blanche Toronto, with two events on campus and one off campus. 

SILO NIGHTS, curated by OCAD U, culminates with a Nuit Blanche grand finale on Oct. 3, in partnership with the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Canada and the Global Centre for Climate Action at OCAD U. 

SILO NIGHTS at Public Pier is curated by OCAD University as part of the Public Pier, presented by The Bentway, Harbourfront Centre, OCAD University, and Waterfront BIA. On October 2, SILO NIGHTS features the Toronto premiere of "Carnet de voyage d'une particule/Travel Diary of a Particle," projected on the Canada Malting Silos.

A Group Exhibition shows faculty research and practice from the Faculty of Art 2026 Summer Institute. SILO NIGHTS at Public Pier is curated by OCAD University as part of Public Pier, presented by The Bentway, Harbourfront Centre, OCAD University, and Waterfront BIA. On Saturday, September 26, the world premiere of "The Shape of Memory" will be projected on the Canada Malting Silos.

SILO NIGHTS at Public Pier is curated by OCAD University as part of Public Pier, presented by The Bentway, Harbourfront Centre, OCAD University, and Waterfront BIA. On Friday and Saturday nights for three weekends, beginning September 18, Toronto’s waterfront lights up after dark. SILO NIGHTS transforms the iconic Canada Malting Silos into a giant canvas for immersive art and storytelling — featuring international artists, student collaborations, and Canadian and world premieres. The series culminates on October 3 with a Nuit Blanche grand finale, in partnership with the European Union (EU) through its Delegation to Canada, with two projections exploring the theme, What We Carry Forward.

SILO NIGHTS at Public Pier is curated by OCAD University as part of Public Pier, presented by The Bentway, Harbourfront Centre, OCAD University and the Waterfront BIA. On September 18 and 19, SILO NIGHTS transforms the iconic Canada Malting Silos into a giant canvas with the world premiere of "Decomposition No. 7: Undergrowth" by transmedia artist Ali Phi.
