 Finding yourself in need of urgent support or need someone to talk to? Come by the Dean of Students Office between 10-6 pm, Monday-Friday, and someone from our team will connect in with you to help provide immediate support, and navigate next steps. Our office is also able to set up appointments via email as well (dso@ocadu.ca).

If you're struggling with a personal, academic, financial, health, or campus-related concern and aren't sure where to start, we can help. We'll meet with you, help you understand your options, connect you with resources, and work with you to develop a plan for moving forward. 

Non-Disability Related Accommodations 
 

 
If you are in need of accommodations that are non-disability related, please reach out to our office. We help liase with faculty and campus resources to help you navigate your academic journey. 

The Student Living Room
 


Need a space to relax, work, and connect with your peers? Students are welcome to enjoy the Student Living Room during our operating hours. 

Located on the 8th floor of 230 Richmond St. W., the space is open Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

In addition to providing a welcoming space to study, unwind, and socialize, the Student Living Room offers: 

  • Access to daily programming run by students, for students 

  • Peer support and opportunities to connect with fellow students 

  • Complimentary snacks and hot meals available throughout the week 

Sexual and Gender-Based Violence

If you are a survivor of sexual or gender-based violence, please know that we recognize your experience as valid and that you may require support. OCAD U’s Sexual and Gender-based Violence Response and Support services are housed within the Dean of Students Office.
