Join us for Art Attacks: Roundtable On Art, Punk, And The Queen West Scene of the 70s And 80s aims to explore the role of Canada’s oldest art school in the underground music that emerged here alongside scenes in London and New York.

Artist, programmer, and OCAD U alum Tara Bursey (BFA, Criticism & Curatorial Practice, 2013) moderates a conversation with David Clarkson (The Diodes), GB Jones (Fifth Column, J.D.s Zine), and Don Pyle (Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet, Crash Kills Five) about art during punk’s first wave, what followed, and its relationship to art education.
