OCAD U 150 Celebration

MMM!

Matriarchal Messages for the Masses

MMM! (Matriarchal Messages for the Masses) is a community-centred pop-up project initiated by Amy Wong that celebrates the wisdom passed down through mothers, aunties, elders, caregivers, and chosen family. Through an open call and poster making workshop, you are invited to share matriarchal messages, everyday teachings, reminders, and words of care. Drawing especially from QT2S+/BIPOC knowledge traditions, selected submissions will be transformed into a series of collaboratively produced screen-printed T-shirts and totes. Part wearable tribute, part living archive, MMM! brings intergenerational knowledge into public space and honours the voices that shape our cultures and communities.
