& Learning Support
Student Writing, Communication and Learning Support (SWCLS) is the student-facing portfolio of the Centre for Learning & Teaching (CLT). We offer programs and resources for undergraduate and graduate students to support their self-direction as learners and help them develop the communication and learning skills they need to be successful in their studies. Our services are grounded in inclusive pedagogies and respect for the multiplicity of knowledges, languages and cultural diversity that students bring to OCAD U. We are here to support students throughout their time at OCAD U—from orientation to graduation—as students explore and develop their creative practices and learn to communicate in ways that are authentic to them as artists, designers, writers and creative professionals.
