OCAD University’s International Programs & Collaborations Office, in partnership with Mexico City–based Culturans, invites students to participate in Creative Contrasts — a weeklong international workshop exploring the intersections of art, design, community, and sustainability. Taking place February 14–22, 2026, the program immerses participants in Mexico City’s vibrant creative scene through hands-on activities with local artists and designers. From street art collaborations to sustainable design explorations in Xochimilco, students will sharpen their creative perspectives and gain valuable cross-cultural experience.

Co-presented by the Ambassade de France au Canada (French Embassy in Canada), Institut français and OCAD University, Painting Mirror is an interactive videomapping where photos submitted by the public as well as OCAD U students will be projected and transformed in the style of great artists (painting, street art, drawing). The video mapping is being led by artist Maxime Touroute.
