Almeda Black Student Collective
Introducing the Almeda Black Student Collective! This group is for OCAD U’s Black identifying students to unify and support one another in creative endeavours, create opportunities through events and exhibitions, address and discuss social issues, ideas, educate each other and enhance the Black culture at OCAD while birthing long-lasting communal relationships!

Creative Coding Club
The Creative Coding Club at OCAD U is a place to experiment with creative technology, connect with people and have fun.

Environmental Committee OCAD (ECOCAD)
The Environmental Committee at OCAD or (ECOCAD for short) invites you to be a part of our garden and attend our monthly meetings where we do more than just think green. Geared towards students of all disciplines, we convene on the common goal of supporting sustainability that extends beyond school grounds. We aim to promote a cleaner campus and enable a circular economy with art-supply exchanges, community clean-ups, and open ecological discussions.

Latino Gang
We are a latino community, looking for latino american people in order to share our culture, music, food and traditions. We are also looking to have hangouts and events in our community to connect with each other and have fun!

Mask Bloc
The OCADU Mask Bloc is a disability justice collective operating on the principles of mutual aid, harm reduction and collective access. We provide free high quality respirator masks to OCAD U students, disseminate information regarding the ongoing pandemic, and aim to increase the accessibility of other tools and resources in order to to keep ourselves and each other safe and well. We care about community care!

Muse Work-Shop
Muse Work-Shop is a student-run group that aims to help the OCAD U student talent build their small business. Through hands-on workshops, collaborations with print services, and real-world guidance on working with manufacturers, our club is dedicated to bridging the gap between artistic talent and entrepreneurial success. Muse Work-Shop is the place to gain knowledge, experience, connect with like-minded individuals, and discover the student talent at OCAD U.
OCAD Climbing Club
OCAD U Climbing Club is for OCAD U students interested in rock climbing, bouldering and other outdoor sport activities.

OCAD Korean Student Association (OKSA)
OCAD Korean Student Association (OKSA) is a student-led group carrying the intention of helping Korean identifying students, or any of whom are interested, to feel a sense of belonging and community within OCAD U. We intend to express our pride and belonging through the rich and beautiful culture of Korea and share them with the OCAD U community.

Print and Pub After School Club
The print and pub after school club is a student led, studio based club, as a gathering space for the OCADU printmaking community (and those interested in exploring!). Through social and hands-on practical events, students can come together to bond and create via printmaking and nano-publications.

RenderED: Environmental Design Student Association
Founded in 2022, RenderED is going into its fourth year. Our aim to provide support and social networking opportunities for students amongst other and also with professors and outside OCAD with industry specialists. We aim to build a great ED designers community at OCAD, so when the students join they have a platform where they can meet their peers and seniors, and also when they leave they have made amazing connections that will help them in their career going forward.

Shoes Off Collective
The Shoes Off Collective (SOC) is a community of Asian-identifying creatives who connect through in-common diasporic experiences. In addition to connecting through culture, art, design, identity, activism and social issues, we hangout together, eat together and create together.

The BakeNBrakes Tea Party Club
BakesNBrakes Tea Party Club is a student-led group at OCAD U that brings a little sweetness to student life—literally. this club creates cozy, creative spaces where students can take a break, enjoy tea, and indulge in homemade pastries.
Each month, we raffle off a pastry idea, and Okiki (with the occasional help from fellow members who want to get hands-on) bakes up something delicious to share at our themed tea party gatherings. Whether you want to roll up your sleeves and join in the kitchen or simply come for the vibes, BakesNBrakes is a low-pressure, feel-good space to unwind, connect, and treat yourself.
