100m Studio
100m is a student-run studio collective at OCAD that aims to support co-operation within our community. 100m is a network of self-governing studios with the common goal to create a space that fosters interconnection among its members; A space to create, publish, share, and cultivate a communal practice —a community.

Almeda Black Student Collective
Introducing the Almeda Black Student Collective! This group is for OCAD U’s Black identifying students to unify and support one another in creative endeavours, create opportunities through events and exhibitions, address and discuss social issues, ideas, educate each other and enhance the Black culture at OCAD while birthing long-lasting communal relationships!

Cinema Society
Cinema Society is a space of love for movies and filmmaking, where the OCAD community can meet and share. We advocate for a safe space to discuss both aesthetics and politics in film, as well as deepen our understanding of film as an art form. We also just really like movies and wanna enjoy that together.

Creative Writing Student Collective
This is group for Creative Writing majors, minors, and anyone who likes to write! We host open mics, writing workshops, and social events to foster community and allow for working relationships to form. Join if you like writing, reading writing, watching live performance, or just having a fun time with creative people.

Drawing and Painting Club
The Drawing and Painting club is focused on bringing students together who enjoy drawing and painting, while harboring a collective student voice for the DRPT department. Meetings will include group gatherings where students help each other with projects and assignments, host demos and artist talks with artists (inside and outside the program), organize gallery visits, hold critiques, and share/help with department news and initiatives. All OCADU students are welcome and encouraged to join. You do not need to be a DPRT student to join. Contact us!

Mature Students Collective (MSC)
The MSC engages mature students in social, learning and creation activities and advocates at the administrative level to support the well-being of mature students at OCAD U.

OCAD Chinese Student Association
The OCAD University Chinese Student Association (OCSA) is a student organization dedicated to enhancing campus cultural awareness and providing academic and informational support for students from similar backgrounds. Our mission is to foster cultural exchange through innovation and a diverse range of educational activities. We also strive to promote leadership skills within the campus community and foster friendships with other clubs and students.

OCAD U Revolutionary Communist Party
In the Revolutionary Communist Party, we believe that in order to truly put an end to war, poverty, inequality, environmental destruction and all forms of oppression, we need to overthrow the capitalist system. We are internationalists and believe that only a united struggle of the working class with all layers of the oppressed can achieve our aims. We combine serious study of Marxist theory with active participation in both the student and workers’ movement in order to advance struggles in the here and now.
We are a growing organization with the aim of spreading to every high school, college and university campus.

RenderED: Environmental Design Student Association
Founded in 2022, RenderED is going into its fourth year. Our aim to provide support and social networking opportunities for students amongst other and also with professors and outside OCAD with industry specialists. We aim to build a great ED designers community at OCAD, so when the students join they have a platform where they can meet their peers and seniors, and also when they leave they have made amazing connections that will help them in their career going forward.

Shoes Off Collective
The Shoes Off Collective (SOC) is a community of Asian-identifying creatives who connect through in-common diasporic experiences. In addition to connecting through culture, art, design, identity, activism and social issues, we hangout together, eat together and create together.

Studio After
This club is for graphic design students interested in engaging with other designers beyond the classroom. We plan to collaborate on group design projects and organize exhibitions during the semester and vacation breaks. We will also hold group critique sessions to support and grow our creative abilities. Studio Circle
This club is for students who want to explore personal creative projects outside of their academic coursework. We meet regularly to work on individual or collaborative artworks and plan small exhibitions together. Through peer feedback and open discussions, members will develop their artistic perspectives and grow as creators in a supportive environment. Contact us!

A school newspaper to inform students about changes in the school and feature student talent.

Trans Artist Collective
TAC (Trans Artists Collective) aims to provide a space where Trans and Nonbinary individuals at OCADU can socialize and connect through their work and shared experiences as Trans students. TAC will facilitate student-led workshops, exhibitions and gatherings as well as social events related to the Trans experience.

VinAlley
VinAlley is a cultural community dedicated to celebrating and reconnecting with Vietnamese heritage. Inspired by the labyrinthine alleys of Vietnam, where we witnessed the daily routines that filled with special scent of cooking smoke and lively chatters. Our club provides a warm space for students to share traditions, explore cultural roots, make new friends, and engage in cross-cultural exchange.
