It is with great pleasure that wecannounce the Winners of the Mejuri Design Excellence Bursaries for 2025.

Congratulations to Alexis Arayata and Zahra Mansuri!

The Bursaries include $5,000 US along with opportunities to show their work in Mejuri’s Toronto retail locations as well as mentorship from Mejuri’s design and marketing/branding  team over the next year. The Bursaries were open to all eligible students enrolled in MAAD-4901-301 MAAD Thesis and MAAD-4002-301 Jewellery: Production and were awarded to the top grade in each course.  

OCADU’s Material Art & Design Jewellery Department is thrilled to be working with Mejuri on this incredible opportunity for students. We are both committed to empowering and supporting the next generation of jewellers and we are so happy to be partnered with a company that is so passionate about giving back and uplifting others. 2025 Mentorship Program for Creative Entrepreneurs: Call for Participants

OCAD University’s RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers is launching a mentorship program for creative entrepreneurs. Running from June to December 2025, this initiative is designed to empower early-stage creative businesses across a spectrum of disciplines—including visual art, cultural production, design fields, media production, social enterprise, technology-enabled services and more. Through mentorship, the program aims to bridge the gap between ideas and successful business ventures.
