RECIPIENT | ART
Nina Iglesias is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer from Mississauga. Working primarily in weaving, her practice focuses on materials, exploring how forms and textures might convey aspects of identity, perception, spirituality and belief. Through slow processes and craft techniques she uses her practice as a vessel to convey that which she has learned in conversation with her materials. Most of all her works aim to highlight, elevate and give back to the land which nurtures us, to replenish what she has taken, and to reciprocate the love she has been given.
