A Talk with Bahamian Artist John Cox
OCAD U x FUZE presents: A Talk with John CoxJoin us for a special talk with John Cox, Bahamian artist, curator, and Executive Director of Arts and Culture at Baha Mar, where he oversees one of the largest collections of contemporary Bahamian art. Cox is also co-founder and lead curator of FUZE Caribbean Art Fair, a dynamic platform dedicated to amplifying Caribbean visual culture and building sustainable opportunities for artists across the region. This event marks an evolving collaboration between FUZE and OCAD University, rooted in a shared commitment to cultural exchange and creative leadership. In his talk, Cox will discuss how FUZE works to challenge stereotypical and touristic narratives of Caribbean art—foregrounding diverse, regionally rooted practices through exhibitions, residencies, mentorship, and critical dialogue.
This in-person event will take place at OCAD University, 115 McCaul St. lower level. Free to join!
