Join artist Cleopatria Peterson for a talk and workshop celebrating zines, dedicated to Black students and alumni from OCAD, University of Toronto, TMU, and George Brown. The event will feature a talk where Cleopatria will speak about their personal experience creating zines in Toronto for themself and others, how to sell your work as an artist, and participating in zine fairs. From there attendees will collaborate together to create their own one page zines with Cleopatria’s help. This event is intended to encourage Black artists to create and share their own work so they can grow and build connections and community with each other.

This event is organized by OCAD University Library Learning Zone and the RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers (CEAD) as part of OCAD’s commitment to the Scarborough Charter.
