The OCAD U Creative Professionals-In-Residence program is a mentorship initiative created to support the career success of current OCAD U students and recent alumni. Venezuelan-born Will Selviz is a trailblazer in immersive media and experiential design. His diverse upbringing across Latin America, the Middle East, and Canada fuels his innovative approach to digital storytelling. A Clio Award winner and SXSW XR director, Will seamlessly blends traditional and cutting-edge technologies. He is the founder of RENDRD Media, an animation production and AI consultancy studio (currently the in-house agency for MLSE), and co-founder of Protopica, a project focused on preserving culture through AI and spatial computing with collaborations including Adobe, OpenAI, and Meta. Will also works as an Forward Deployed Creative for Magnific (formerly Freepik). Passionate about neuroscience and Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology, he aims to fuse creativity with scientific rigor, crafting inclusive experiences that foster a sense of belonging.

You can book an in-person or virtual mentorship session with Will from October 20 - December 17, 2026.
