From Passion to Proof: Assessing Feasibility in Creative Entrepreneurship
Date/Time: Wednesday, April 15, 2026, 1:00 - 3:00 pm
Location: CEAD, 115 McCaul St., 3rd Floor
OCAD University’s RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers (CEAD) invites you to an interactive workshop with Shilbee Kim designed to help creatives evaluate both the passion and the practical viability behind their entrepreneurial ideas.
Creative ideas can be powerful, but not every idea is meant to become a business. Through guided reflection and simple validation tools, this session will explore how to test demand without over-investing time, money, or creative energy. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to assess feasibility before committing to a venture.
Participants can expect:
- A clearer sense of which ideas are worth experimenting with now
- Insight into how passion and practicality can support each other
- A next-step action plan grounded in both vision and reality
Ideal for creatives who are curious about entrepreneurship and want to approach it through thoughtful experimentation, small proof points, and sustainable long-term creative growth.
