We invite you to attend the 2026 OCAD U Graduate Conference, held on February 20 – 21 at 205 Richmond St. W.

The OCAD U Graduate Conference serves as a platform for graduate students to showcase their innovative research across a wide range of fields. Planned, organized and run by current OCAD grad students, it is a unique opportunity for students, faculty, professionals, and peers to gather and exchange ideas.

This year’s conference theme is experimentation through (Dis)Pleasure. Presenters, workshop leaders, and attendees are asked to think about:

  • The euphoria of making
  • Creation, experimentation, and research,
  • Unfulfilling and unsatisfying work
  • Commercialization of pleasure
  • The impact of systemic issues on how we work and what we work on

When you put pleasure and (Dis)pleasure in dialogue with each other, it can result in a eureka moment, embodied experience, empathy, and thinking through making.

Join us to explore these ideas through a series of panels, workshops, and an exhibition in the Graduate Gallery.

This conference is free to attend. Please register in advance.

Please be advised that OCAD U hosted events may be documented through photographs and video. These images may be used by the University for promotional, advertising, and educational purposes.
