The Level Up Showcase, a cornerstone of Ontario’s gaming community, returns on April 7 from 4 to 10 p.m. at Toronto’s Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel.

Taking place annually in Toronto, Ontario, the Level Up Showcase is the main event for industry, institutions and students to network, recruit and celebrate homegrown talent in the region. Canada boasts the third-largest game industry in the world, with Ontario having the second-highest number of game companies in the country. Level Up Showcase is the top destination for emerging talent in this growing industry, showcasing the future of the Canadian videogame industry.

Level Up Showcase 2026 is co-hosted and organized by Algonquin College, Brock University, Humber Polytechnic, the University of Toronto and the Digital Futures Program at OCAD University, in partnership with XP Gaming.

Attendees will have the opportunity to play more than 150 student-created games, meet the developers behind them and participate in a closing awards ceremony celebrating standout projects.
