Sandeep has held three solo exhibitions of his photographic work: Singularity at Gallery Sumukha, Bangalore, Let Me Add Something in my melody at Villa Renata, Basel, and Toy Boy from Malabar and his journey to wine, cheese and chocolates at Gallery Sumukha, Bangalore. His photographic work has been exhibited at Khoj Studios, Delhi, Kunst Museum, Wolfsburg, and Serendipity Art Festival, Goa. His video work has been showcased at the Bangalore Queer Film Festival, the Palace International Queer Film Festival, Bristol, and the festival of Video Art by Indian Contemporary Artists.

Sandeep was chosen as one of five Serendipity Arles Grantees in recognition of lens-based media work in South Asia. In 2022, he was awarded the Pro Helvetia Studio Residency Award to conduct archival research in Switzerland, as well as the Robert Bosch Crossing Borders grant to document alternative families in Berlin. In 2021, he was among the five artists selected for the Khoj Peers Residency in Delhi. In 2020, he won the Inlaks Fine Art Award in India, and in 2019, he was awarded the Paradise Air arts residency in Tokyo.

We are incredibly grateful to the Chandaria Family for their generous support of this international program and the enrichment that it has brought to our community.
