Dear OCAD U Community,

We are reaching out today to express deep concern for our students, faculty and staff who are affected by the devastating events that have transpired in the Middle East this weekend. OCAD University condemns the recent horrific attacks against the civilian population in Israel. We are also very concerned with escalating violence that will affect Israelis and Palestinians alike. As this is Fall Midterm Break, we are worried about the safety and well-being of any of our students or community members who may be in the region or who have friends and family there. We offer our condolences to those whose family and friends are suffering in Israel and Palestine and like many, call and hope for a peaceful resolution.
