The Faculty of Art Critique Club is to create a space where students are invited to learn how to engage in critical dialogue, make relationships with their peers, and discuss critique feedback.

Guest speaker Kristi Chen's multidisciplinary practice explores themes of intergenerational, ancestral archives and how they relate to experiences of the diaspora. Kristi was raised in Singapore, the United States, Canada, and Hong Kong (SAR), and these experiences of constant migration have informed both the subject matter and material language of her work. Central to her practice currently are the lost practices of basketry, woodworking, and incense paste creation, all of which continue a dissemination of intergenerational knowledge through changing periods of time.
