OCAD University’s 2025 Convocation Ceremonies will be held on Friday June 13, 2025 at Roy Thomson Hall, 60 Simcoe St., Toronto.
There will be two ceremonies, which will also be livestreamed on this page.

Morning Ceremony
Faculty of Design
Starts at 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
(graduates must arrive at 9 a.m.)
Student Reception in lobby 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Afternoon Ceremony
Faculty of Art, Faculty of Arts & Science & School of Graduate Studies
Starts at 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
(graduates must arrive at 2 p.m.)
Student Reception in lobby 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Honorary Doctorates
OCAD University will award honorary doctorates to several remarkable individuals who have been leaders of change, having made a direct impact on arts and culture in Canada and worldwide.
This year’s honorary doctorate recipients include award-winning creatives – Christi Belcourt, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer and Tim Whiten – and arts advocate and business leader John Bianchini.
