Suharu Ogawa

Suharu Ogawa (she/her) is an illustrator who works with diverse projects, such as editorial, institutional, health science, and children's books. She has illustrated over 10 children's books and nominated for various awards, including SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators) Golden Kite Award.

She teaches first year foundation courses such as Illustrative concepts and Design Principles, second year Contemporary Illustration where students are engaged in the role of an illustrator throughout the history, and upper year Book Illustration.

Suharu is an Assistant Professor in Illustration program at OCAD University.
