Annie Tung

Annie Tung is an educator who designs and makes jewellery and objects. She uses metalsmithing and CAD/CAM as a foundation for her approach to processes and materials. Since 2023, she has been a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the MAAD Jewellery Studio, where she began teaching in 2018 as a Teaching Stream faculty member.
Currently, she researches digital design pedagogy, rapid prototyping, and traditional craft skills in studio-based courses.
Decolonial approaches in her courses include facilitating student-led critiques and discussions, student contributions, and collaborations.
