Senate Elections

OCAD University Senate elections are managed centrally by the Chief Electoral Officer and are held annually in preparation for the upcoming academic year. Elected Senators include faculty, Program Chairs/Graduate Program Directors, as well as both undergraduate and graduate students.

No eligible nominations were received to fill the one (1) undergraduate student Senator vacancy from the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences & School of Interdisciplinary Studies.

Vacancies for Student Representatives on Senate: 

One (1) Sessional Faculty Senator from any of the three faculties.

  • Sessional Faculty are elected from and by Sessional faculty members.
  • This position is to fill a vacancy for the remainder of the winter 2019 term. The elected senator is eligible to be nominated for a second consecutive one (1) year term.
