Senate Elections

OCAD University Senate elections are managed centrally by the Chief Electoral Officer and are held annually in preparation for the upcoming academic year. Elected Senators include faculty, Program Chairs/Graduate Program Directors, as well as both undergraduate and graduate students.

Student Representatives on Senate:

We are pleased to announce the following undergraduate students have been acclaimed to the OCAD University Senate:

  • Francis Ho, Cross-Disciplinary Art: Life Studies Program, Faculty of Art
  • Chris Leithead, Graphic Design Program, Faculty of Design

We are pleased to announce the following graduate student has been acclaimed to the OCAD University Senate:

  • Panya Clark Espinal, MFA Criticism and Curatorial Practice program, 2nd Year

No nominations were received for the one remaining undergraduate student senator seat in the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Science and School of Interdisciplinary Studies.​

  • Beverly Dywan, Faculty of Design, Sessional Faculty Senator
  • Kathy Kiloh, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciencs and School of Interdisciplinary Studies Faculty Senator

No nominations were received for the one remaining vacant Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences and School of Interdisciplinary Studies faculty senator seat and there remains one (1) Sessional Faculty seat vacancy.
