Board of Governors’ External Member Nominations

OCAD University’s Board of Governors (Board) has members from the external community, who are elected by the Board itself, as well as by the alumni. These External Member positions are voluntary positions for a three-year term upon successful completion of the recruitment and election process. 

There is currently one vacancy for an External Member, elected by the Alumni, for a three-year term.

Nominations are being accepted until March 30, 2018 for this Alumni position.

Board of Governors’ Internal Member Elections

The extended nomination period for the 2018 by-election for student positions on the OCAD University Board of Governors is now complete.

Matthew Grimm, a fourth year Undergraduate student in the Bachelor of Fine Arts, Criticism and Curatorial Practice, has been acclaimed into one of the two Undergraduate Student positions on the OCAD University Board for the remainder of the two-year term to June 2019.

Eric Hanson, a fourth year Undergraduate student in the Bachelor of Design, Advertising program, continues in the other Undergraduate Student position on the OCAD University Board in his second year of his two-year term to June 2018.

No nominations were received for the one Graduate Student position on the Board.  This position will remain vacant until the next elections process as per section 6.4(f) of the Board By-Laws.
