Board of Governors’ External Member Nominations
OCAD University’s Board of Governors (Board) has members from the external community, who are appointed by the Lieutenant-Governor-In-Council on the recommendation of the Board. These External Member positions are voluntary positions for a three-year term upon successful completion of the recruitment and appointment process.
The Executive Committee of the Board, acting in its nominating role, considers potential candidates.

2018/19 ELECTION – STUDENT MEMBERS ON THE BOARD
Vacancies exist for the following Student positions on the Board:
• One (1) Graduate Student position elected by registered full-time/part-time Graduate Students at OCAD University;
• One (1) Undergraduate Student position elected by registered full-time/part-time Undergraduate Students at OCAD University.
Nominations are now being accepted for Internal Member positions on the OCAD University Board of Governors.
Eligible candidates may submit nominations for these positions until Monday, September 10, 2018, 4:30 p.m.

Nomination Period: April 30 to September 10, 2018
Nomination Deadline: Nominations close at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, September 10, 2018
NOTE: Completed nomination forms and supporting materials (current resume and 100-word summary profile statement) should be delivered to Carole Beaulieu, Secretary to the Board of Governors, 11th Floor, 230 Richmond Street West by the nomination deadline.
Candidates Announced: By September 12, 2018
Election Period (Electronic Voting): September 12, 2018 from 12:00 a.m. to September 19, 2018 at 11:59 p.m.
Election Results Announced: By September 25, 2018
