Board of Governors’ External Member Nominations

OCAD University’s Board of Governors (Board) has members from the external community, who are elected by the Board itself, as well as by the alumni. These External Member positions are voluntary positions for a three-year term upon successful completion of the recruitment and election process. 

There is currently one vacancy for an External Member, elected by the Alumni, for a three-year term.

Nominations are being accepted until January 31, 2018 for this Alumni position.

Board of Governors’ Internal Member Elections

The nomination period for the student positions on the OCAD University Board of Governors is now complete.

No new nominations were received for either the one Graduate Student position or the one Undergraduate Student position on the Board.  These positions will remain vacant following the Fall 2017 student elections process and until the next election process as per section 6.4(f) of the Board By-Laws.

Eric Hanson, a fourth year Undergraduate student in the Bachelor of Design, Advertising program, will continue in his second year of his two-year term as Undergraduate Student representative on the OCAD University Board.
