SWC Art Therapy Group
Tending to our Full Body Beings
We are beings in bodies, part of the natural earth.

Dates: Every Thursday starting Sept. 11, 2025 to Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025 (no group Oct 17)
Time: 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
Location: 230 Richmond St. West – 6th Floor (Student Wellness Centre) - In-person
We are beings in bodies, part of the natural earth.
We are natural beings, even when we forget, even when the systems encourage the forgetting of this inherent nature.
What would it be like to remember our belonging in nature, our relationship to ecosystems?
What would it be like to give attention to our textures, our sounds, our rhythms, our shapes of existence?
How could this offer another lens to nurture wellbeing that is whole, relational, collective, and contextual?
If you are curious about these questions and want to explore them with others – come and join this in-person therapy group! Guided by different therapy approaches, we will use art-making prompts, body-movement practices, creative play and reflective discussions to:
- Nourish our capacity to stay with present moment experiences
- Honour all the different ways we respond to life (its gifts and challenges) around us
If you have more questions, email Dean – ddavis@ocadu.ca
Hope you’ll join us in tending to our full body beings – slowly, curiously, compassionately.
