Student Exhibition - Research Tool Kit & Fallacy Flyers
Student Exhibition - Research Tool Kit & Fallacy Flyers
As a part of their research course, a group of 2nd year Advertising students were tasked with coming up with their own research tool kits, their own code of conduct - on how to make research more inclusive and more ethical. By doing so, they attempt to break out of the restrictive colonial lens of looking at research, honor other ways of knowledges, and include the communities which have been historically and systematically overlooked or misrepresented.
Along with this, they will also be showcasing "the fallacy flyers" - flyers they created, as a way to understand and become aware about various biases in the research process, and also their self biases.
Join us in celebrating this important and introspective work the students have been doing throughout the fall term. We will also be celebrating with some snacks and some after party karaoke! Come prepared to reflect and to sing!
