As a creative university, OCAD U offers Experiential Learning Placements instead of traditional “co-ops” or internships, prioritizing mentorship, experimentation, and self-reflection. Graduate placements enable students to explore the diversity of roles and opportunities that exist in the creative sector. Through an individualized process, students identify and seek opportunities from employers to bring their fresh perspectives to the workplace, contribute their skills, and reflect on meaningful cultural production.
The RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers, Experiential Learning Program offers a continuous approach to bridging formal studies with opportunities for professional, personal and civic growth.
***Spring/Summer Grad Placement Application Deadline: March 26, 2026
