Global Voices: Redefining Creativity – Stories, Skills and The Future
Global Voices: Redefining Creativity – Stories, Skills and The Future
A no-slides, no-filter, virtual coffee chat on the future of creativity, tech and storytelling with Karla Congson, CEO and CTO of Agentiiv and OCAD University President and Vice-Chancellor Ana Serrano.
Is there any other field in business more creative than marketing? Perhaps! But for decades, marketing, communications, advertising and digital media professionals have carried the responsibility of thinking differently, competing on the level of ideas and bringing fresh perspectives forward.
These disciplines once had clear rules and proven playbooks. Today, those rules are shifting. Which means it’s time to rethink our strategies, redefine what it means to be creative, and explore how technology is reshaping storytelling and imagination.
Join us for a relaxed virtual coffee chat with two global leaders at the intersection of creativity, innovation and future thinking.
Congson and Serrano will explore how creativity is transforming, how leaders are adapting, and how technology is becoming a critical force in modern creative thinking and storytelling: skills every marketer thrives on. They will also offer insights into emerging trends shaping Canada and global markets.
This won’t be a formal presentation. Instead, expect a candid, heart-to-heart conversation, moderated by Reggie Waterman, author, speaker, facilitator, and brand director at Yorkville University, whose work is rooted in creativity and visionary thinking.
We’ll also be taking audience-driven questions, which you can submit in advance so the conversation reflects what you genuinely want to explore.
It’s going to be Friday morning, after all! So let’s keep it relaxed, inspiring and meaningful.
Grab your coffee, bring your curiosity and join us.
Registration is required. This event is free for OCAD U students. To receive a coupon code for free admission, please contact OCAD U Communications. Please note that OCAD U faculty and staff members are not eligible for free admission.
