Hosted at the CEAD in small intimate groups, these gatherings will provide a space for group conversations with practitioners who are interested in supporting OCAD U students and grads to offer mentorship, and share their professional insights and journey, while collectively creating a community.

Coffee Chats is a series of casual gatherings with industry guests. Hosted at the CEAD in small intimate groups, these gatherings will provide a space for group conversations with practitioners who are interested in supporting OCAD U students and grads to offer mentorship, and share their professional insights and journey, while collectively creating a community.
Jason Cheng is a senior toy designer leading product development and brand creation across major entertainment licenses — from global Netflix hits to top anime franchises such as Stranger Things, Among Us, and Jujutsu Kaisen, and more. He leads end to end design development, driving products from concept and ideation through prototyping and final production, and has designed multiple award winning toy lines. Jason is also the creator of original toy lines such as Taggy Bears and Battalor, focusing on new brand development and creating toy-led original IP for toys and entertainment.
