My first year and a half were online because of COVID, so me and a couple of people from our classes started doing all nighter Teams calls so we could study, work together and make sure we didn’t feel too lonely. I wouldn’t have survived some of my courses without them. When we went back to campus in person we realised that so many people in our program felt the same way, so we decided to book a room every week, where people could come together and help each other with work. It went so well we end up creating a student association called RenderED that is still going strong today two years after we’ve graduated. It’s had three different generations of students run it at this point and it’s never been better! I am still very close friends with everyone that was part of the original team and so grateful to have met them!
