OCAD University’s RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers (CEAD) is excited to announce the OCAD U vendors selected to table at Just Tasty Things Market.

The Just Tasty Things Market is centred around food. Tasty, delicious food! Dave and Rob make up the team known as Eat Sleep Meep and the Just Things Markets. Dave is the maker of all things penguin (as well as other cute animals) across different forms of merchandise, including but not limited to: stickers, pins, wooden and acrylic keychains and prints. Rob keeps the markets running smoothly with an eye towards organization and vendor satisfaction. Together they work towards markets that are fun for vendor and attendee alike.

The market takes place at Interesting Things (173 Baldwin St. in Kensington Market, Toronto) on July 19, 2025 from 12 PM - 6 PM.

The OCAD U vendors are:

Blake Reategui

maybe_choclo_who_knows (Blake Reategui) (they/them) is an artist who can't get enough of drawing cute desserts and other food dishes whenever they get the chance, always sneaking in something to satisfy their sweet tooth in as many pieces humanly possible! And yes, this includes almost every school assignment that they can get away with. Blake's always experimenting with screentone, bright colours and all kinds of brushes, painterly and sketchy ink pens alike. They could go on and on about their practice and all the kinds of mediums they love to experiment with, so watch them as they go on their page!

maybe_choclo_who_knows will be selling prints, original analogue artwork, stickers, keychains, zines.

Lisa Lai

lake_of_lies (Lisa Lai): Hello! I am a visual artist and emerging animator based in Toronto, currently attending OCAD U’s Experimental Animation program. I make a variety of art from different mediums including digital illustration, animation and 3d modelling, to textiles and other crafts. For my digital illustrations, I use bright colours and cartoon lines to create something that is intriguing and beautiful. When I am not practising and improving my 2d animation and drawing or 3d modelling, I might be making something crafty. While on break from my computer, I might be crocheting accessories from yarn, or perhaps, making crafts with my tools.

lake_of_lies will be selling bracelets, keychains, necklace, stickers

Tal Mikanovsky

talmiik (Tal Mikanovsky) is a student slash artist slash zine-enthusiast. Their work revolves around nostalgia, dogs, printmaking, risography, and zines. They are currently studying printmaking and art history at OCADU and have a passion for both the arts and academia. You can find them on instagram @talmiik

talmiik will be selling zines.

Travis Tao

Tomataos (Travis Tao) is a small Toronto-based AAPI illustrator with a signature style marked by vibrant palettes, graphic shapes, and anthropomorphic figures that breathe life into their work. Inspired by magical realism and metropolitan living, each illustration is riddled with small details in visual storytelling and texture that continue to surprise past the first glance.

Tomataos will be selling prints, stickers, and buttons.

Yixin Chen

the19ave (Yixin Chen) (they/them): I am a Toronto-based Chinese illustrator who is interested in a little bit of everything. Slice-of-life moments and food are two of my favourite subjects. I primarily work digitally on Procreate and CSP, but I also enjoy sketching with pen and ink. Recently graduated from OCAD U, I am looking forward to pursuing a career in picture books and the editorial field.

the19ave is selling zines and riso prints.
