On Monday, Jan. 26, the OCAD U campus is closed due to winter storm conditions and significant snowfall. This is aligned with the City of Toronto declaring a Major Snow Storm Condition and Significant Weather Event. We believe this is a prudent decision given the ongoing snow and necessary clean up, with the safety of our students and employees as our top priority.

This means all campus buildings are closed, including all studios, research labs, galleries, including Onsite, and the Dorothy H. Hoover Library. Students and employees should not come to campus; there is no access to all campus buildings and facilities.

All in-person classes, events and activities are cancelled; in-person classes are NOT moving online. All Continuing Studies and evening classes are cancelled.

Only scheduled online classes will be held.

All employees should continue to work remotely, if possible. Please speak to your immediate supervisor for support and direction.

Please check your email, the OCAD U website and social media for updates regarding the re-opening.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
