Level Up Showcase returns April 7, continuing its mission to spotlight and celebrate Ontario’s top post-secondary student game development talent. This year’s free event will take place at the Sheraton Centre Toronto, welcoming students, schools, industry professionals, recruiters and the public for an evening dedicated to discovering the province’s next generation of game developers.

Organized by digital media faculty from leading Ontario institutions in partnership with XP Gaming Inc., Level Up Showcase is a cornerstone of Ontario’s gaming ecosystem. The event provides students with a professional platform to showcase their games, receive industry feedback, connect with hiring studios and compete for top honours.

Zynga joins the event as Title Sponsor for 2026, underscoring the company’s commitment to supporting emerging talent and investing in the future of game development in Ontario.

This year’s event is made possible with funding from Ontario Creates and the City of Toronto and generous corporate sponsorship from Zynga, Ubisoft Toronto, 2K Games, AMD, Blue Ocean Games, Sledgehammer Games, Behaviour Interactive, Epic Games, Puzzle Cats and Uken Games.

Over 3,000 attendees will have the opportunity to play over 150 student-created games from more than 22 post-secondary institutions, meet the developers behind them and participate in the closing awards ceremony celebrating standout projects.
