Call for Vendors: BAM! Barns Art Market (Summer 2026)
OCAD University's RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers (CEAD) is excited to partner again with Wychwood Barns to offer a curated group of OCAD U students and recent alumni the opportunity to share a vendor table at the BAM! Barns Art Market.
This summer market is a vibrant, community-focused event that welcomes over 3,000 visitors, providing an excellent platform to sell your work, connect with new audiences, and gain real-world market experience.

⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
📍 Location: Wychwood Barns
Selected participants will also receive access to a pre-market onboarding workshop to help prepare for the experience.
No commission will be taken on sales.
Eligibility
To apply, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be a current OCAD U student or a recent alumnus (graduated in 2024 or later) from any program
- Have a creative practice that produces small-scale artwork or products for sale
- Be interested in participating as a vendor at pop-up or market-style events
Please Note (BAM! Market Guidelines)
The following are not permitted:
- Explicit adult content (e.g. NSFW prints, 18+ zines)
- AI-generated artwork sold as original designs
- Mass-produced merchandise (e.g. third-party resale)
- Hate speech or discriminatory content
Additionally:
- Artists must sell their own original work
- Work must be complete and professionally presented
- Vendors should demonstrate readiness to exhibit in a gallery/market context
Responsibilities
Selected vendors are expected to:
- Attend a mandatory online onboarding workshop (early July, date TBD)
- Prepare inventory for the market
- Collaborate with fellow vendors on a shared table setup
- Arrange transportation and be present for the full market day
- Manage their own point-of-sale system (cash, Square, e-transfer, etc.)
- Submit a short post-event report
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit:
- Contact information
- Confirmation of eligibility
Plus one (1) PDF document including:
- Artist Statement (max. 250 words)
- Learning Statement (max. 150 words)
- 3–5 Product Images
- Image List, including:
- Title
- Size
- Medium
- Year
- Price or price range
For digital work, include intended print sizes.
File naming format:
LastName_FirstName_Application_WychwoodBarns
