OCAD University’s RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers is excited to announce Sanchari Dey as the primary recipient and Marketa Holtebrinck as the secondary recipient of the Open Studio 2026 Printmaking Residency Career Launcher!

Sanchari Dey bio:

Based in Toronto, Sanchari Dey is a graphic designer and artist/maker. Her work orbits print-making, image-making and publishing practices while gravitating towards experimental forms and textures.

Marketa Holtebrinck bio:

Marketa Holtebrinck is an interdisciplinary artist in Tkaronto working between print and sculpture. Passionately material, her work responds to spaces she tenuously calls home.

In summer 2024 Marketa worked in Remai Modern Art Centre in Saskatoon (Saskatchewan), editioning a William Kentridge print project in a collaborative printmaking exhibition Life Editions: Jillian Ross Print with Master printer Jillian Ross. 

In 2025 Marketa spent five months in Glasgow School of Art (UK) making large cyanotypes, hiking in the Campsie Fells and collecting raw wool in the hills for ephemeral future projects. She will graduate from OCAD U in June 2026.
