OCAD University’s RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers is excited to announce Olivia Reynolds as the recipient of the 2026 Vector Festival Gamemaking Residency & Showcase Career Launchers!

Working closely with the residency Curator, Gamemaker residents will be introduced to guiding themes and concepts to develop new games with guidance and support from peers, InterAccess Programming Manager, and technicians. Completed games will be showcased in a public exhibition during Vector Festival 2026.  

Olivia Reynolds bio:

Olivia Reynolds is an artist-filmmaker and recent BFA graduate of OCAD University. She loves to work with elements of video, design and storytelling, distilling rich fantasies and alternate worlds into manageable bites. She also likes to write, read and think in her nonexistent free time.

OCAD U x SickKids Research Institute Exhibition - Call for Artists

OCAD University’s RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers (CEAD) and The Hospital for Sick Children Research Institute (SickKids RI) have partnered to co-create an exhibition in the Great Hall at OCAD University on November 16-27, 2026. The CEAD and SickKids RI are inviting emerging artists to submit existing works for consideration. The responding artworks to be curated will be in dialogue with captivating scientific images or videos from SickKids Research Institute. 7-9 successful artists will each be paid a $500 Artist Fee.
