CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: OCAD U 2022-2023 TEACHING AWARDS

NOMINATION DEADLINE: Monday, March 27, 2023 at 11:59 PM

The Call for Nominations for OCAD U's 2022-2023 Teaching Awards is now open!  The awards celebrate teaching at the university and are presented annually in recognition of outstanding faculty, instructors and teaching assistants who employ equitable, inclusive and innovative teaching methods that provide meaningful learning experiences for students. All OCAD U students, staff and faculty members are invited to nominate one of our many dedicated faculty members and teaching assistants for this year's awards. 

Nomination Eligibility and Information

  • All faculty members and teaching assistants who taught in the Spring/Summer 2022, Fall 2022 and Winter 2023 terms are eligible to be nominated for this year’s awards.
  • Nominators are asked to submit a brief nomination letter along with this Nomination Form
  • Your letter of nomination should describe, with examples based on the Teaching Awards Criteria (PDF), why you are nominating this faculty member or teaching assistant for a teaching award. While you are not required to speak to all of the Teaching Awards criteria, your nomination letter should clearly address as many of the criteria that apply.

Nominations close on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 11:59pm.

A shortlist of nominees will be shared in early-May and award recipients will be announced in mid-August.

The Price Award for Tenured and Tenure-Track Faculty, which acknowledges sustained and ongoing contributions and leadership in teaching, is presented in honour of JH and Mamie Price.
