Board of Governors’ External Member Nominations

OCAD University’s Board of Governors (Board) has members from the external community, who are elected by the Board itself. This External Member position is a voluntary position for a three-year term upon successful completion of the recruitment and election process. 

The Executive Committee of the Board, acting in its nominating role, considers potential candidates.

Board of Governors’ Internal Member Nominations

Nominations are now being accepted for several positions on the OCAD University Board of Governors.

Eligible candidates may submit nominations for these positions until Friday, May 12, 2017, 4:30 p.m.

Positions available are:

  • Permanent Manager1
    One (1) Permanent Manager position for a two-year term.
  • Permanent Staff2
    One (1) Permanent Staff position for a two-year term.

1    “Permanent Managers, as per the Board Bylaws, mean University employees who are employed in an executive or managerial capacity, including Vice Presidents, Associate Vice-Presidents, Directors, Managers, Deans, and Associate Deans, who have successfully passed a probationary period and have been awarded permanent employment at the University, consistent with the terms of applicable collective agreements pertaining to such employees, which may be in effect from time to time.
