OCAD University is excited to announce the recipients of The Next Fourteen Days project grants. as part of an inaugural collaboration with Kolab Project.

The Next Fourteen Days is a new initiative that has provided grants to realize 14 new projects created by OCAD U students, recent alumni and select faculty.

The initiative is an experiment in social connection ̶collectively and individually, these works will speak to this time of physical distancing and self-isolation by featuring artwork created over a period of 14 days. Using creative practice to bridge social distancing, the Next Fourteen Days was developed in an effort to offer a reprieve from our collective isolation, to champion creativity and to support cultural production in these challenging times. Members of the OCAD U community from a range of programs and disciplines reflected on these themes to provide a collection of meditative and thoughtful responses. Congratulations to:

Individual project grants of $1,000 were awarded to the recipients by a jury made up of Kolab Project and OCAD U representatives. Recipients were selected on the basis of a short project proposal, the strength of their portfolio of existing work and also a declaration of financial need.
