The Studio Services Team presents: 

COFFEE WITH ROBIN TIEU (Ceramics Studio) & TEK YANG (Photography Centre)!

Looking to connect with studio technicians to discuss projects or ask questions?  Studio Services is hosting a series of casual drop-in sessions throughout the term!  

After studying ceramics coast to coast, Vancouver to Halifax, Robin Tieu now works in OCADU’s ceramics studio as the technician. Robin loves ceramics and loves to share this love with students. From tableware to fantastical sculptures to architectural installations, Robin can help with ceramic technicalities.  Robin maintains a sizeable practice in her home kitchen. She is currently absorbed in sourdough, cheesecake and crème brulée.

Tek Yang is a technician in the Photography Centre, OCAD U & also alumni. Tek has years of experience in a variety of fields in the arts sector, including gallery services, commercial sales & fabrication/installation. He is also an exhibiting & published artist and the founder of P.U.P Contemporary, giving opportunities to local emerging talents to showcase their art works. Tek’s recent work explores idea of our self-identity within the context of living in cosmopolitan world.   You can find Tek’s work here: www.gallerytek.com
