OCAD U student group Art in Public Spaces invites you to their speaker series of artists and members of the Toronto public art world who discuss their work, including inspiration, proposals, fabrication, and they will respond to your questions:

Speaker: Morris Wazney
Date: Monday, November 23, 2020
Time: 3:00 to 3:45 p.m. EST
Delivery Platform: Microsoft Teams

Morris Wazney is an artist based in Toronto. Morris' sculptural work is often focused on the combined absence and presence of the human body and memory, and in looking at the natural imperfections in symmetrical forms. Working in two disciplines, Morris' painting practice is driven by the research and observation of natural and architectural forms and her sculptural practice leans more towards fabrication research, interactive art and installation. Currently, her work has been centred around metal fabrication, with a specific focus on bronze and aluminum casting.
