What if the past and the future could coexist in a single moment, challenging our understanding of time, space, and history?

Inspired by the theme of anachronism, Past-Forward draws from the juxtaposition of elements from different points in time. By disrupting chronological order and challenging our perception of historical continuity, it serves as a gateway to explore the interplay of temporality, materiality, individual experiences, cultural traditions, and narratives. Through this lens, we embark on a journey to traverse the enigmatic landscapes of time, gaining insights into the interconnectedness of our stories, and prompting us to question, connect, and celebrate the richness of human existence.

In this exhibit, installations and multimedia artworks utilize materiality as a vehicle for inquiry, delving into transformative processes of healing, queer phenomenology, consumer culture, and notions of visual perception. These diverse themes seamlessly interweave, forming a constellation of reflections on the human condition, and provoking contemplation, empathy, and new perspectives.

The echoes of history resonate in the present, casting intriguing shadows on the unwritten stories of tomorrow, and revealing the timeless aspects of our shared humanity.
