Exploring the Role of Design in the Health Sector: MICROscopic creatures, MACROscopic impact.

As we get closer to 2050, we will be facing important changes in our biological world, particularly critical when we look at microscopic life on Earth and its impact on our health. In this participatory WS, we will explore possible, alternative futures for the healthcare system in Mexico. We will look into our collective and individual hopes & dreams, as we dive into the implications of our actions in the natural world, and how they affect the quality of our lives and our health.

Furthermore, we will attempt to answer questions such as:

-How might we create sustainable healthier futures?

- How might we all get the care we need, when we need it the most?

- How might we redesign a system to work well for everyone, when the smallest creatures pose the biggest threats?

And finally, we will ponder around: How do we get there? What are the main barriers we face to change? What are the key takeaways?

Certificate of completion will be awarded for participation in workshop.
