This book traces a history of the diverse practices of appropriation specific to Canadian art through a series of critical essays, short essays on individual artworks, artist interviews and additional research. It is profusely illustrated with colour images, and is the first in-depth study of Canadian appropriation art. 

The book is coedited by Julian Haladyn, Faculty of Arts and Science 
And features work by present and former Faculty of Art members:
David Clarkson, Collete Whiten, Judith Doyle, Andy Patton, and Jennifer Rudder.
