Sexual violence survey
The Student Voices on Sexual Violence Survey was administered between February and April 2018 on behalf of the Ontario Government. Over 746,000 postsecondary students were invited to participate and more than 160,000 students took part in the survey.
These survey results are useful for universities to understand the extent of the problem of gender-based violence and to help institutions improve their processes and supports for survivors.
Due to the variations in size, location and demographics, comparing the survey data by university is not helpful.
OCAD University is using this data to improve prevention of gender-based violence and on-campus supports for survivors.
