Experiential Learning Placements Program: Faculty
Faculty can work with the Experiential Learning Placements Program in order to develop placement partnerships and related opportunities for students which align with specific learning outcomes. The Experiential Learning Program also offers support and resources to enhance student professionalism and career development.
For-credit placements
OCAD U offers several structured undergraduate courses in the Faculty of Art, Faculty of Design and Faculty of Liberal Arts & Sciences/School of Interdisciplinary Studies in which students can enrol to participate in a for-credit placement. A list of such courses can be found on the right side of this page.
On an independent basis, undergraduate students can also pursue Field Placement as an Experiential Learning Opportunity. These for-credit placements immerse students in a professional environment, guided by a faculty member, with specific learning, work and mentorship objectives attached.
Graduate students also have opportunities within their respective programs of study to participate in Graduate Studies Internships, independent studies, and residencies.
