Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) is law.
OCAD University is legally mandated to provide AODA Customer Service information and training to all employees, volunteers and student leaders.
Volunteers and student group leaders
In order to volunteer on campus or for your student group to be recognized/registered or renewed, you are required to review the following instructions and complete the online modules. Completion of these online modules* is mandatory in your role as a volunteer or student group leader.
The AODA Online Learning Module requires 50 to 60 minutes to complete.
*NOTE: if you have already completed these online modules as a requirement of another on-campus job or volunteer position, please go directly to Step 4 and send an email as confirmation of your AODA training. You do not need to do it again.

When you have completed the online learning modules, send an e-mail to Brent Everett James, Campus Life Coordinator, Student Success Programs, with the following information:
- Your full name
- Role (Volunteer/Student Group Leader/Peer Mentor, etc.)
- Program/Student group name
- Completion date
By sending an email, you are agreeing that you have completed and understood the AODA Customer Service Standards content.
