OCAD U Gala: A Virtual Happening promises to deliver stellar musical performances and exciting participatory opportunities while supporting our students, during this unprecedented time.
The event, November 22 at 7 p.m., features performances by Zaki Ibrahim and Ori Dagan and an interactive audience session with Choir! Choir! Choir! The evening will be hosted by Misha Glouberman with DJ Fly Lady Di providing some tasty tunes before and after the event. Central to this experience is our tribute to Dr. Sara Diamond as we recognize her 15 years as President and Vice-Chancellor of OCAD U.
The Gala will also showcase an amazing art and design-based online Silent Auction from November 15 to 22, featuring works by Alex McLeod, Erin Loree, John Holland, Charlie Pachter, Douglas Coupland, Kent Monkman, Steve Driscoll, Tealeaves, Keita Morimoto, Margaret Priest, Gary Taxali, and special lots from Tealeaves, Director X (Julian Lutz), Weavers Art + more!
