Get boosted: COVID-19
To ensure continuity of teaching, learning and campus activities throughout the year, and if we have to reactivate our vaccine mandate, the OCAD U expects all students and employees to receive all recommended COVID-19 vaccine doses, including any booster dose(s) as soon as they are eligible. A COVID-19 booster is a vaccine dose given after you have completed the primary vaccine series.
According to the City of Toronto, COVID-19 vaccines may protect recipients against long COVID. For individuals who recently had a COVID-19 infection, getting vaccinated gives hybrid immunity for stronger and longer lasting protection.
Staff, students and faculty are welcome to bring their family, dependents, partners and spouses to the clinic and should confirm their eligibility for a COVID-19 vaccine booster dose on the City of Toronto website.
