Discontinuation of Service Depot at 100 McCaul St., effective August 6, 2021

Studio Services, Rapid Prototyping Centre

The above services will be closed as of August 6, 2021. The last day of service is August 5, 2021. Arrangements can be made to return keys and equipment by contacting Studio Management.

However, some services will continue to be offered as indicated below.

IT Services, Help Desk & AV Support

When: Mondays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to noon, starting Mon., August 9

Where: IT Help Desk – 100 McCaul St., Floor 3, Room 341

  • Equipment Loans & Returns: Faculty, Graduate Students, and Students enrolled in applicable summer courses
  • Laptop Repairs: Students, Faculty & Staff
  • Laptop Loans & Returns: Faculty & Staff
  • Software pick-up: Students

Copy & Print Services
When: Mondays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to noon, starting Mon., August 9

Where: Copy & Print Centre – 51 McCaul St.

  • Printing, binding and finishing services for students, faculty and staff 

To access these above services, follow these steps:

Step 1: Book a remote consultation / submit print jobs

Step 2: Book your campus visit

  • Use the Teams Booking calendar to book your visit to campus on Mondays and Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 12 noon. For services that require a consultation, your campus visit will be booked during this consultation.

Step 3: Watch for your confirmation notice

  • You will receive a confirmation by email with your appointment date and time.
  • Before coming to campus, please familiarize yourself with OCAD U’s Safety Protocols and take the COVID-19 Safety Training prior to arrival on campus. This training takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Library Learning Zone Curbside Service continues until August 24, 2021

Library curbside pick-up and book return drop-off
When: Tuesdays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Learning Zone, 113 McCaul St. (enter through St. Patrick St.)

  • Books and periodicals from the Dorothy H. Hoover Library, and/or InterLibrary Loans, are available to all students, faculty and staff; returns using drop-off service (no booking required)
  • How to book: Visit our LibGuide to set up your appointment.

Preparing to come to campus for these above access opportunities

  • Familiarize yourself with OCAD U’s safety protocols and take the COVID-19 Safety Training prior to arrival on campus. This training takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.
  • You are required to wear a mask or face covering at all times (note: individuals who are exempt from wearing a mask or face covering include people who are reasonably accommodated, in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code). 
  • You will be asked the COVID-19 screening questions upon arrival, prior to entry.
  • Hand sanitizer is available upon arrival.
